WHAT IS ANGLICANISM?
Anglicanism is a worldwide body of Christians responding to God’s revelation through Jesus Christ. Anglicanism brings together the authority of the Bible, the historic faith, and the beauty of structured prayer. It is rooted in tradition, yet contemporary in practice. It is united in substance, yet diverse in expression. We are a global family living out our faith in local communities.

SUNDAY SERVICE
Sunday Mass begins at 9 am followed by coffee in the Parish Hall. All children are welcome to sit with parents or attend our nursery. The Blessed Sacrament/Communion is offered weekly and all who are baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are invited to celebrate with us.

ABOUT ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA ANGLICAN CHURCH
The name “Anglican” is traced back to the ancient Anglo-Saxon tribes of Europe. The tribal name was spelled “Engles” or “Angles” and the tribe’s speech was the precursor to the English language. Their island became known as England, and their Christians were known as Anglicans.
St. Anthony's is located in Alvarado, Texas on the corner of Hwy 67 and Percifield Trail (one mile west of 1-35). We are a mission Church under the Diocese of Fort Worth.

“This church is the pillar and stable foundation of truth, because in it soundeth the voice of the Son of God”
John Philpot
